Help for Joe and Lisa Cicci

Hi, My name is Maria and I'm fundraising for Joe and Lisa Cicci. Lisa has known me since the day I was born. She married the love of her life in October of 2020. They have barely been married two years. Joe was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019 and technically, he's beaten cancer. Unfortunately, this time, it brought back other medical complications that have affected his liver for which there is no cure. Joe has been in the hospital since June 6th. He went in with a blood infection and is still there. He is a fighter and hasn't given up so Lisa is trying to bring him home. His medical issues are complex so they will be needing additional home health aide's to supplement when Lisa works as she is thr sole breadwinner. 

Joe retired in February of 2021 and has spent most of it in hospitals. We are hoping to raise funds to help with the cost of home health aides as well as if/when the time comes and he is on hospice, to help Lisa with after expenses. 

 Joe spent 40 years in law enforcement: 27 years as a police officer for St Charles and recently retired as a Chief of Police of Waterman, IL. He is an avid Vikings fan and loves cars and all things mechanical. He was a cyclist and had the opportunity to race in Europe in 2010. He has enjoyed life and impacted many people along the way. They really need your help as Lisa doesn't have much sick/vacation time left. If you cannot donate, please just share this post; hopefully, it will get to enough people to reach the goal.
