Help for Herb family

My family consist of my husband, Ernest Herb, my two children, Madison & Matthew, and myself, Beverly. In 2010 my husband started having major complications from a long battle with diabetes. They did his first bypass surgery on his right leg in December of 2010. The surgery worked for 2 years, but then he had to have his right leg amputated below the knee. The recovery was prolonged for a year. He had trouble healing, then he was able to be fitted for a prosthetic. We knew that we would have to do everything in our power to stay healthy. His diabetes caused more complications and he developed a sore on his left heel. We did wound care for almost a year with no success. Due to the unsuccessful woundcare, he was admitted to the hospital. The doctors were going to do a bypass on his left leg, but his heart was not strong enough to handle the surgery. As a result, the doctors decided to amputate his left leg below the knee, making him a double amputee. We have to do some major repairs on our house to make it handicap accessible. When you go through things like this, you always want to believe for a brighter and more positive outcome. We are not the kind of family that asks for help, but due to the circumstances, major repairs to our house are needed for us to live a healthy and normal life. This is a time sensitive matter, for he is still in the hospital, and the major repairs need to be made before he can come home. If you can find it in your heart to give.
