Help for Heidi, Our Joyful Fighter
Hi, my name is Miri, and I’m a student. A few months ago, my family and I adopted Heidi, a playful and energetic 1-year-old puppy, from a local shelter. From the moment we saw her, bounding over with a wagging tail and bright, hopeful eyes, we knew she was meant to be part of our family. Heidi is full of life—she loves to play, adores children, and is gentle with everyone she meets. Her boundless joy has transformed our home in ways we never imagined.
But Heidi is more than just a source of happiness—she saved me during one of the hardest moments of my life. Her love and energy reminded me that even in the darkest times, there’s always light. That’s why it’s so hard to face what’s happening now: Heidi has been diagnosed with an oncological tumor.
She is still so full of life, and I can’t bear to imagine losing her. Heidi deserves the chance to keep running, playing, and spreading the same love and joy she gives every day. Her treatment is expensive, but it offers her a real shot at recovery.
