Help for Hayden - spinal cord injury assistance

In February 2021, Hayden sustained a life-changing spinal cord injury after a body-surfing accident.

Hayden is a typical 20 year old who loves playing football and cricket, hanging out with his mates and spending time with his girlfriend. 

All of that changed in the blink of an eye when he was dumped by a wave.

He fractured two vertebrae at C5/6 and sustained a spinal cord injury at C6. This has resulted in paralysis from the chest down and loss of fine motor capacity in his wrists and hands.

Hayden loves his footy and enjoys as much as anyone flying high to take a mark and kicking goals. His parents Sue and Brendon are always the first to step forward and volunteer for any role that needed to be filled. 

His two footy clubs got together for a fundraiser for him and that has resulted in the creation of this page.  Hayden's road to recovery will be a long one, anything you can donate to help Hayden and his family move forward will be gratefully accepted.
