<div>In the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 5, Grace Thompson faced every cat rescuer’s worst nightmare when her home—also the foster headquarters for her 501(c)(3) rescue, Kitten Kam Rescue—caught fire. She acted quickly, doing everything she could to save the cats and kittens in her care, but tragically, many were lost to smoke inhalation. Some of her personal cats survived, along with several adult rescue cats and kittens. As of Tuesday afternoon, one cat is still unaccounted for.

<div>The fire destroyed everything Grace owned—her clothing, furniture, personal belongings, and cherished memories. She is now faced with the overwhelming reality of starting over from nothing.

<div>This fundraiser will help Grace cover immediate needs like clothing, basic toiletries, food, and other essentials as she begins to rebuild her life. All funds will go to Grace for her personal needs, including helping her owned cats.
