Help for Girls After Loss of Parents

Donation protected
Tuesday, December 29, 2020 affected the lives of many, but changed the lives of my nieces, Marcella and Priscilla, forever.

My sister, Marcella Redbird, made the decision to switch to hospice care and remain in the comfort of her home. As the girls were caring for and spending time with their mother, we received the unfortunate news about their father, Michael Greengrass. He was involved in a vehicle accident that day and, sadly, did not make it.

My sister's health deteriorated quickly throughout the evening, so we prepared ourselves for what was to come. Before midnight, she started her journey as well with her girls, our sister, Cecelia Bede, and her Father, Tony Lee Redbird, home with her.

The girls' Grandfather, or Poppy as they call him, has been their primary guardian most of their lives. As always, he is doing his best to make sure life continues as normal as can be. They are in the absolute best hands possible, as he is the definition of perseverance and love. His strength is unwavering, but he is mourning the loss of his daughter as well. It is our wish to ease some of his burdens as these coming months will be a new territory for us all.

Any assistance and attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, and prayers are always welcomed! Thank you all for reading, sharing, and thinking about, and praying for our families at this difficult time. We wish you all a happy, safe, and prosperous New Year!
