Help for FF/EMT Gladys Tinker Bowen

Gladys is a FF/EMT/Medical Training Officer with Hornbeak VFD. Recently, Gladys required surgery for blood clots in her legs. She was released from the hospital a few weeks ago. While attending the 9/11 Memorial at Discovery Park of America a week ago she developed clots again, was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and this time the Doctors were not able to save her left leg. Gladys required an amputation and as a result is still in the Hospital in Memphis and will require several weeks and maybe months of medical and rehabilitation care. Gladys' immediate need now is funds to help the family with monthly expenses and daily travel expenses to get to and from the Hospital in Memphis. All of you that know Gladys know that she is a caring and giving person. Gladys is the face of Emergency Medical Care in our little Town and surrounding area.
