Help for Diamond

Donation protected
This is a campaign to help with the rescue and medical rehab of a 3 year old mare named Diamond. Last summer, she was rescued from the Cranbury Auction with a foal at her side. The individual who rescued her put some weight back on her and then sent her to two separate trainers for backing. The first trainer said she was untrainable, the second told her to euthanize the mare. Thankfully, her owner at the time disagreed, and chose to offer her up for free. In viewing a video of Diamond, several very experienced eyes noticed that she has significant stiffness in her back and shoulders, which is very likely why she was difficult to train. A group of positive reinforcement trainers got together and started this campaign to save and rehabilitate her. We feel very strongly that some good bodywork and a full vet work up will be the answer for Diamond. We have identified a wonderful foster home and positive reinforcement training situation for her, so we are humbly asking for community support  in giving this beautiful mare a chance at a long, happy life. Any funds raised will go directly to her transport costs to her new home, a full veterinary work up, any bodywork that may be needed (chiro, acupuncture, etc.), and  a dental work up. Thank you!
