Hi, I am reaching out on behalf of my nephew, David Peterson . On May 17th, he went into the hospital for what he thought was dehaydration and by the following day, he was in the ICU on a ventilator fighting for his life. He had to be transferred to a higher acute hospital where the doctors there put him on ECMO which helps oxygenate his blood outside of his body since his lungs were damaged by what we were told was severe pneumonia. At that time, the doctors had considered him the sickest pateint in Nevada. He had been in the ICU for 5 weeks and is slowly showing signs of improvement, but has a long road ahead of him with extensive rehab. We humbly request your support for David, his wife, and two young children during this difficult time. The state of Nevada does not provide any disability benefits and David is the primary financial provider for his family. Your generous donations will help with hospital bills and everyday expenses.
