Help for Dave Roy's Family

On Saturday, 1st July Dave Roy was playing a game of football with Karuah Roos RLFC against Glendale RLFC  and unfortunately suffered a massive heart attack. With a quick response from a number of spectators, officials and family members, CPR was administered immediately. At this stage Dave is in a stable but critical condition in the JHH - Intensive Care Unit.

Dave Roy is a 34 yr old father of 11 children and is the sole income earner for his family, in employment that he has just recently commenced. Due to just starting in his new position Dave Roy does not have any leave entitlements to use while he recovers. Both Dave and Fiona will need as much support as possible as it will be a very long road to recovery.

Dave Roy and his family are well known community members and have also given so much to the people of Newcastle.

With permission from family we would like to raise money to help support Dave's beautiful family to take some of the stress away.
