Help for Coach Cruz’ Medical Expenses

Hi! I’m Amy Phillips and I manage one of Coach Jorge Cruz’ teams at Georgetown Soccer Association.

Jorge Cruz is a name known to many in the futball world - literally! He has played and trained Club, College and National teams around the world! As a player and coach, he has touched many lives - improving the skills of many aspiring athletes and inspiring us all with his faith and humility.

Coach Cruz recently suffered a heart attack and had to undergo emergency surgery. He is recovering nicely, but the medical bills will likely be staggering, as his health insurance was not yet in effect. Many of us are one catastrophic health event away from financial ruin, and we do not want Coach Cruz to suffer further with this financial burden. 100% of your donation will go directly toward paying his medical bills.

He came to Georgetown Soccer Association in our greatest time of need: our 05 Boys/06 Girls coach was undergoing treatment for cancer and he asked Coach Cruz to fill in as a personal favor. Selfless as he is, Jorge answered the call and has made a home in the hearts of all of GSA. Now it is our turn to return the favor. Please give generously to help Jorge Cruz in his time of need!
