<div>N G Resthouse in Pokhara, Nepal, is a welcoming place run by sisters Maya and Devi. They’ve created a haven for travelers, offering a peaceful space surrounded by nature, where guests can enjoy fresh food from their garden and farm.

<div>Maya and Devi's story is one of courage and kindness. Orphaned at a young age, they faced many hardships - just like many peers in this geographically disadvantaged yet beautiful country. Without formal education, they learned English from trekking guides and travelers, eventually opening N G Resthouse. It’s not just a place for travelers—it’s also a safe space for women and children in need.

<div>We originally set out to raise €5,000 to help Maya and Devi buy the farmland that sustains their mission, and €20,000 more to build a fair orphanage for children. So far, we’ve raised €1,500. While this is a wonderful start, Maya and Devi have decided to use the funds to help school children and communities in remoter areas of Nepal, as they barely benefit from the increasing influx of tourism funds. This way, your donations are directly making a real difference.
