Help for Chengetai and her family

I have just returned home from a trip to Zimbabwe.
I spent 99% of my time doing work, but on my las day there the Program Director for ADRA Zimbabwe took my colleague and I on a tour of the capital city--Harare.
As we drove up to one of the poorest areas we saw children playing outside but their play space was filled with trash and contaminated water. Walking toward the building I asked myself "how can people allow other human beings to live in such conditions?" The stench almost unbareable, the corridors dark and the whole scene inhumane.
We were welcomed into 20 year old Chengetai's home. It is a small space in which 6 people share one bed. The only window in the home is located in that bedroom and when opened the stench is poignant.
Chengetai lives with her mother, grandmother and brothers. Her mother works as a security guard earning only $125 a month. It is a dire situation.
As if poverty wasn't enough to deal with Chengetai is suffering from Fibrosarcoma (lung cancer). Her beautiful head without hair as result of the chemotherapy. She smiles shily as the conversation continues.
Once we were back in the car we asked Patisiwe how much her treatment costs. The answer: each treatment costs her family $500 USD.
Please help me raise funds for Chengetai and her family. The goal is $1,000. But if we can surpass it then let's do it!!
