Help For Brody And His Family

My name is Taylor and my 8 year old nephew, Brody, has been in an awful accident.
On July 4th, Brody and some of our family were celebrating our country, as Americans do, and he picked up a firework that everyone thought was a dud. Turns out, it wasn't and it ignited in his hand.
Brody lost all the tissue in his middle and ring fingers all the way down to the bone. He had his first surgery of many on July 6th. He has a very, very long road to recovery and we are praying that he gets through this. He has been working with a ton on specialists and surgeons to decide on what the best route for him is going to be.
Brody's whole life revolves around baseball. He is an amazing player and person; full of life, love, kindness and a whole lot of spunk! The loves of his life are his family and his baseball. His team is called Missouri Nationals and they are like a second family to him. Sadly, due to his accident, he won't be able to play for a while. We are praying so hard that he gets to play again, like I said, baseball is his whole world.
Hospital bills and other expenses are already starting to pile up and this is just the beginning of his recovery. His mother and his stepfather are both taking off of work to be with Brody, so not only are they worried about hospital bills, they have to worry about home expenses and other life expenses as well. We have only scratched the surface of what the next year will be like for Brody and our family.
