Help for Briella Vecchio

On Friday June 30, 2017 8 year old Briella vecchio was at camp with her family when she lost control of a dirt bike she was riding resulting in life threatening injuries. She was rushed by ambulance to the thessalon hospital where given the severity of her injuries was immediately sent to the sault area hospital. In the sault she was placed on a breathing tube and  Doctors discovered perforations in her stomach from the impact of the handle bars causing air to fill in her belly this required immediate surgery to repair as well as a fractured femur that plates and screws were necessary . She has also sustained a fractured shoulder that has been splinted. It was decided that given the nature of her injuries it was in Briellas best interest to be flown to London immediately. Her mother Tanya was able to fly with her to London after a special team of doctors arrived in the Sault to ensure she was stable enough to fly without complications. Her Father Gennaro as well as the rest of her family members drove down to be by her side. Although she is stable at the momemt she faces more surgeries and extensive care in her recovery. She will not be able to put weight on her leg for months and it is not clear how long they will be away from home. We are asking for any help to cover the cost of hotels and missed wages so that her family can remain by her side. my brother jordan who is Briellas step dad will be withdrawing funds on her behalf
