My name is Jeremy and I am a streamer known as JBisHERE on the live streaming platform Twitch. I've been streaming on Twitch for almost 3 years and during that time I've met some truly amazing people...many of which I call real and true friends.
For those not familiar which Twitch it is a platform where people stream live content to the public. To help keep the chat and community safe streamers, such as myself, often entrust moderation powers to friends and trusted individuals who keep the chat and community safe from bad behavior from internet trolls and just nasty people in general.
One of those friends in my own community is named Marbman13, but his real name is Brent. He, among my other moderators, have become very close friends over the last few years, and we have always been there for each other...comforting each other during our hardships and sharing the joy of our triumphs in life.
Well, Brent has an amazing daughter named Bella, and they are going through something right now that I am asking for any able and willing people to help them get through.
This is Bella
She was first diagnosed with cancer in September of 2018. Obviously, Brent and his family were devastated, but they alongside Bella and her indomitable spirit, pushed forward with the many costly and painful treatments. As with any parent dealing with this situation, Brent and his wife knew that money was of no concern when it came to their daughter. They were going to do what they needed to do to get their Bella the treatments she needed.
And they did, after pursuing all available avenues to pay for the treatments, Bella was treated and after 4 long months of treatments, and surgeries, she was pronounced cancer free in January 2019. Life, although changed forever for Bella and her family, could finally start getting back to some normalcy.
But all of that changed on Friday November the 22nd. Bella, after going in for a screening was found to have a re-occurrence in her cancer. Their world, was shattered. Again, money is the last thing a parent wants to think about when it comes to getting the help they need for their child but now, unfortunately, it is a real issue. The treatments for the previous cancer Bella had costed Brent and his family tens of thousands of dollars. The average cost of surgeries and treatments for Bella's cancer range from $25,000 to $32,000. This caused Brent to have to file bankruptcy and now, with the re-occurrence of the cancer, he and his family are at a complete loss as to what to do, and this is where I, and many others in my community have decided to create this GoFundMe for Bella and Brent, and they have full access to withdraw funds from this campaign at any time.
I have said many times in my live streams on Twitch, that life is never all "rainbows and unicorns" and sometimes bad stuff happens, and that's what my community is here for. To help and support each other out in the bad times and share in the joys of the good times. We just want to help, no matter how small the amount, Brent and his family, because he has always been there for us.
So, if you can, please help our friend and his daughter get through this tough time....we all love Brent and want to do at least what we can for him and his daughter.
