Help for Beanie
Hi everyone!
As some of you may know, our dad, Beanie, was in an accident on Saturday night. He hit a coyote riding a bike/scooter And broke his tibia and fibula (completely smashed them) and ruptured his extender tendon in his toe. He just finished one surgery today and had his toe repaired and 1/2 surgeries for his leg. He has his next surgery in about a week once the swelling is down.
Dad has a very long road ahead of him, he currently lives in a second floor apartment which require two sets of steps to access. He will no longer be able to live there. Aside from that comes the road to recovery that is more then meand my siblings can take on by our selves. We are here to look after our father as he needs us too, but we need a little help this time!
Anyone who knows dad knows he will help anyone in a heart beat! He is too proud to ask for help himself, so I am asking on his behalf!
Most people know he had a heart attack and a stroke almost 3 years ago to the day and suffered major medical set backs regarding this, leaving him with an already long list of medications that is not covered by insurance. He isn’t eligible for insurance, so it’s more then any one should have to pay just to stay alive. He has a long road ahead of him with trips to Halifax, new medications, new treatments to recover, etc. The list goes on.
We are trying to relieve his stress a little bit, any amount no matter how small is greatly appreciated!
