Help for Banff family medical bills

Family, friends, and community please help us raise money for Banff, Alberta resident Maritess Tabat to help pay her $30,000 Foothills Hospital bill that she acquired while her mother was here from the Philippines to help take care of her 3 children.
Maritess' mother did not have any medical insurance when she came over to Canada to stay with and help out her family. While in Banff she suffered from a major seizure that left her unable to move the right side of her body. She was transferred from the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary for extensive treatment. She was in the hospital for over 1 week, and had multiple tests peformed on her in order for the doctors to be able to figure out what was exactly going on.
The doctors found that she had ring enhancing lesions of the brain, which is a brain infection. Once Maritess' mother was stable enough to fly back to the Philippines, they flew back with her so that she could be treated under her healthcare coverage back in the Philippines.
Maritess is an amazing, kind, and hard working person with 3 children to support (ages 2, 13, and 15). She has been living in Banff for 7 years and has been employed the entire 7 years with a local Banff retail company. On top of supporting her family, 3 children, and still needing to pay her monthly bills and rent, she now has a $30,000 medical bill to pay for and deal with.
We are reaching out to people and hoping to raise some money for Maritess to help her pay for this expensive medical bill. Every dollar counts and would be greatly appreciated!
