Help for Avery's hospital stay

Our son, Avery, was born on July 16th by an emergency c-section. Immediately after birth he was sent to the NICU for severe meconium aspiration syndrome and hypertension. He had to be transferred to Levine Children's Hospital a few hours after birth and has been in the NICU there ever since. Doctors have also found multiple heart defects which will require multiple surgeries and procedures over the first few years of his life to correct. He's also expected to need feeding therapy and other assistance over the next few years. They've been waiting for him to become stable and healthy enough to start fixing his heart, and luckily his lungs and blood pressure are getting better and he should have his first heart procedure next week. He's expected to spend 6-8 weeks at Levine for now. The hospital offered us the ability to stay at the Ronald McDonald house, but unfortunately we can't due to my 5 year old with special needs having such a busy therapy schedule and me being his full time caregiver. This means to be able to see our son, we have to drive to and from uptown Charlotte from our house in Fort Mill every single day. Avery's father has already missed a chunk of work, and will likely be missing more here and there when they are doing procedures and operations on him. We need assistance with the cost of gas to drive the hour round trip every day for the duration of his stay, as well help with rent and utilities to due the gap in his father's work schedule. None of these issues were detected during pregnancy so this has blindsided us. We were expecting to take home our full term healthy baby boy on Sunday and instead we haven't even gotten a chance to hold him yet. Any little bit helps and would be greatly appreciated.
