Help for Anna DeJong's Family

Donation protected
This campaign is for financial help for the family of the young woman with autism who was swept away in the DuPage River on Friday , May 15 while walking her dogs and attempting to cross a flooded pedestrian bridge in Winfield. Her body was found down river on May 27.

Many of you know of the heartbreaking news that a young woman, Anna DeJong, with autism was swept away in the DuPage River on Friday, May 15 while walking her dogs and attempting to cross a flooded pedestrian bridge in Winfield IL. Anna’s father, Dave DeJong, is a longtime friend of mine. Many have been asking what you can do to help the family. Dave is a single dad, whose photography business, struggling for a number of years, has been all but decimated by the Covid19 lockdown order. His other daughter, Kathryn, who also lives with him, has had a brain tumor on her hypothalamus since age 3 and it's been a long, costly journey. Lessening some of the financial stress at this tragic time would be a huge blessing.Your prayers for the De Jong family in their unimaginable grief are much-appreciated. Please feel free to share this GoFundMe.
Thank you all so much,
