Help for Alyson Akers

On Saturday, February 10th Alyson was participating in the Tour de Palm Springs, a 100 mile charity cycling event, when she was struck by a car. Alyson sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center. Her boyfriend Mark Kristofferson, and avid cyclist was killed in the accident.
Alyson suffered traumatic injuries. She endured over two weeks in the hospital and has had several surgeries. Alyson is currently at home recovering and is in rehabilitation. We hope that Alyson will continue to improve as each day passes.
Alyson, has so many wonderful characteristics, she has a personality that lights up the room. She is an amazing woman, mother, hard worker, great co-worker, and terrific friend. At this time all we want for Alyson is for her to focus on her health and recovery.
