Recovery expense for a Dad/USAF vet

My name is Julie. I am asking for help on behalf of my dad. He is a United States Air Force veteran and is currently in the intensive care unit in DC.He has 2 kids 4 grandkids and 3 boys that call him pappy .Who He has been a wonderful grandfather figure for. He has worked his whole life. He also donate regularly to organizations such as Saint Judes childrens hospital etc. He has always been a giver.  My father has never ever really had any health conditions that may have indicated we would be here today. This is a very sudden incident .He had been complaining of feeling tired however I assumed it was that he was slowing down with age. A full time life on the road as a truck driver could do that to you at 61 years old. He had a full wellness exam a few months back and everything was clear. Fast forward to two weeks ago..... He began feeling Ill and went to the hospital on and off for two weeks until Thursday at 1 am when they finally admitted him. Later that morning they found that he was having  kidney failure ..  a long ambulance ride and plenty of feeling sick later the took him to DC. Since then he has taken millions of tests amd they believe my dad to have a rare auto immune disease known as Wegeners disease . Which has caused pulmonary renal syndrome .He has blood in his lungs and is on a vigerous course of treatment. He has had dialysis twice along with plazmafresis. Hes absolutely exhausted and trying to eat little by little . He will most likely be here 3 weeks or more. We are praying for recovery harder than anything right now.he doesn't know I'm doing this yet ,he can be sensitive when it comes to people helping him.  We are blessed that the va is taking care of medical expenses ,however I'm worried about the time after the hospital. I would just like him to have one less thing to worry about. Please pray for support and recovery for him and us. If you cannot donate it's okay , but please share our story.
