Help for a GWOT Veteran

I feel like this is a long shot but here goes. I am raising this money for an old war buddy and his wife and dog that desperately needs housing. I took them in when they had nowhere to go and let them stay in my house but I can no longer afford to keep them under my roof. He is a good dude but he is not connected to the VA so no programs for veterans will touch him and I can only keep him floating until April 1st. He has a job as a roofer, but here in Colorado the weather prevents him from making a significant amount of money until the weather warms up. He is also a reservist but his pay is messed up and he hasn't received any money from the military in 4 months. Because of this he is two months behind on his truck payment and has no money to get an apartment. He needs $1500 to be able to afford an apartment here in Colorado Springs and another $500 to catch his truck payment back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I did what I could for him but I don't have the money to set him up with his own place.
