Help for a desperate mother of two
Hi everyone,
We are raising funds for a single mother of two who has found herself in a desperate situation which has lead her to think that taking her own life is the only way out & that her children will be better off without her. She’s got her suicide planned & set out!!!
She shared a post on Facebook at 1am this morning stating she was in pain & wanting to end it all. I just happened to see her post and decided to reach out to her. I’ve been to visit her today to talk to her and what’s she’s told me & opened her heart to me about has driven me to reach out to others & try to help her.
Here I will breakdown what’s been happening so you can get the full picture yourself.
*She’s suffered a series of tragic and traumatic events throughout her life & her younger years
*Insomnia and anxiety as a result
*Prescribed strong medication to help her sleep
*Quickly became addicted to the medication
*Her 2 Children have suffered as a result
*Spent her rent money to fund the habit
*Given eviction notice from her landlord
*Went to Crisis Team who referred her back to Talk Liverpool and Counselling services (Crisis Team have not intervened as she would have hoped)
*Went to Shelter with Social worker who told her they can only advise and maybe help with legal fees if she is take to court
*Housing Options told her landlord they would pay the arrears if she could stay in the property, the landlord refused.
*Received a letter from the housing saying they had paid the landlord...landlord ‘hasn’t received it’ So She’s no longer receiving money from the housing as ‘they’ve paid enough thus far’ and the landlord apparently hasn't received it so he wants her out (no one’s going for the landlord here, he just doesn't know the full story and is thinking of his business that’s all)
*The housing have said they’ll help her get on the Property Pool but haven’t since Oct 2019 when all of this began.
* she now thinks if she’s not here her children will be looked after by social services & have a better upbringing without her. We all know that’s not the case & her children need their mum!
I’ve been very careful to make sure the info I have is correct and that my good nature hasn't been used in any way so please know that this lady is legitimate and this plea for help is real. I've seen letters and documents that corroborate her story so I know I'm trying to serve the right person here.
This woman is open to revealing her identity if she needs to just because she has nowhere else to go. But right now she doesn’t want me to share her photo & so the one used in this campaign is from Google. She’s desperate and wants this to be over. But let's end it in the good way.
Setting up a go fund me page today to help with a deposit for a house and help with the addiction.
She’s extremely honest about the series of events and she’s open to herself and why she’s arrived here. There’s no mask with this one. She’s a beautiful person that just needs to be heard.
No human being should have to feel the only way out is suicide. Any help big or small is greatly appreciated do we can help her get her life back in track!
she not only needs her housing arrangements sorted & is in need of a roof over her & her two children’s heads but she also needs intense therapy/counselling/rehabilitation.
