Foreign Language for Youth is celebrating twenty-five years of education! Give the gift of language to young learners by donating to FLY. Our students become global citizens that recognize interconnectedness in this time of societal separation.
Please help FLY reach our goal of $100,000 to help us come through the pandemic stronger than ever! We are hoping to use any funds towards the following; $8,000 for Enrichment Curriculum, $16,000 for Curriculum Development, $30,000 for Family Outreach Programs, and $25,000 for Technical Customer Support Staff. Any funds above our goal will be used for scholarships.
FLY started in 1995 as one passionate mother seeing the importance of her children having access to foreign language education in their lives. Today, FLY is a nonprofit school offering Spanish, French, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese online and hybrid in-person classes that better the lives of children locally and in various states.
Some schools do not offer foreign language opportunities until students are in middle school or older. FLY instills cultural awareness and interest in foreign languages in K-8 students. Students can connect with the experiences of our fabulous FLY teachers who come from all parts of the globe.
