<div>Hello, my name is Aymen. I am Moroccan, born and raised in a city called Safi. I came to Canada this year to continue my studies.

<div>A few months later, I was devastated to learn that a major flood had struck my hometown, causing severe damage. I lost three close friends, two others went missing, and many families were left without a place to sleep. Homes were destroyed, shops and small businesses were swept away, and countless people lost their only source of income. Many families struggled to find food, clothing, and basic necessities.

<div>The city was deeply affected, especially families with young children, elderly people, and parents who suddenly found themselves unable to provide for their loved ones. Seeing my community suffer while I am far away has been heartbreaking.

<div>The goal of this fundraiser is to help as many affected families as possible by providing essential needs such as food, clothing, temporary shelter, and basic support, with a priority for children and the most vulnerable.
