<div>At just 40 years old, Flo was diagnosed with stage 2–3 lung adenocarcinoma. Hearing the words “you have cancer” is something no one is ever prepared for. Since that day, life has become a whirlwind of hospital appointments, tests, treatments, and uncertainty.

<div>Radiotherapy was the beginning of Flo’s treatment journey, but unfortunately things took a different turn. His doctors referred him for chemotherapy through the NHS, but we were faced with a waiting list of 4–5 months. Knowing how important it was to start treatment as soon as possible, we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to continue his care privately. The cost of private chemotherapy and ongoing treatment is significant, which is why we are asking for your support.

<div>The financial impact has been overwhelming. Since his diagnosis, Flo has exhausted his savings trying to cover essential living costs and expenses related to his treatment. Without life or income protection insurance, he has been left struggling to meet everyday bills while focusing on the fight for his life.

<div>Flo is my fiancé, and watching him go through this has been heartbreaking. He continues to fight with incredible strength and determination every single day, but this journey has placed an enormous emotional, physical, and financial burden on both of us.

<div>Januárban Flo élete borzasztó fordulatot vett,
</div>
<div>Mindössze 40 évesen 2–3. stádiumú tüdőadenokarcinómát diagnosztizáltak nála. Azt hallani, hogy „rákos vagy”, olyasmi, amire senki sincs felkészülve. Azóta az életünk kórházi időpontok, vizsgálatok, kezelések és bizonytalanság körül forog.

<div>Az NHS kezelésére 4–5 hónapos várólistán voltunk, ezért úgy döntöttünk, hogy magánklinikákon folytatjuk a kezelést, és minden erőforrásunkat erre fordítjuk.
</div>
<div>Flo a vőlegényem, és fájdalmas látni, min megy keresztül nap mint nap. Minden erejével küzd, de a betegség nemcsak fizikailag és lelkileg, hanem anyagilag is óriási terhet jelent számunkra.
</div>
<div>A diagnózisa óta Flo felélte minden megtakarítását, hogy fedezni tudja a mindennapi megélhetési költségeket és a kezelésével kapcsolatos kiadásokat. Mivel nem rendelkezett élet- vagy jövedelembiztosítással, rendkívül nehézzé vált számunkra a számlák és a napi kiadások fedezése, miközben az életéért harcol.
