<div>As some of you know I was born missing part of my face, a birth defect known as <strong>"double cleft lip and palate."</strong> I was missing the roof of my mouth, bone in my nose, an incomplete top jaw, and top lip. From a three-month-old baby to an eighteen-year-old teenager, surgeons performed 13 different surgeries to fix my face. They did a really good job, but they (my plastic and oral surgeons) told me that I would eventually require additional surgeries to maintain and repair what they did. <strong>Eventually has arrived and I need to have more work done to fix my mouth.</strong> Unfortunately, these surgeries and procedures are stupid expensive and only partially covered by health and dental insurance. What they currently have planned for me will cost somewhere between $45k to $60k to complete. I'll be required to pay $8k to $12k of that myself. Looking and hoping I can get help from some of you good humans to fund fixing my face.
