<div>The war has lasted over two years now. Every day is a battle to meet even the most basic needs. Food is unaffordable. The average cost of a week's worth of food is around $500. Water is no longer free — we now pay for drinking water. With no cooking gas, we’re forced to buy firewood just to prepare food. Personal hygiene supplies like soap and shampoo are luxuries we can barely afford. Medical care is out of reach, even though both my parents and I have urgent health needs. Even withdrawing money comes at a heavy cost — a 50% commission, meaning $1,000 becomes $500.
