Hi, my name is Fionn, and I'm raising funds to help cover the cost of moving from Texas to Illinois this summer.

After 11 years of teaching science in Texas, I’ve accepted a new job at a middle school in Illinois where I’ll be starting a new chapter—personally and professionally. This move is more than just a relocation; it’s about finding safety, acceptance, and a healthier environment to live and work as a transgender educator.

While I’m excited about this opportunity, moving across the country is expensive. I’ll be covering moving truck costs, deposits, setting up a new home, and travel. Unfortunately, I can’t access my retirement funds until I’ve officially left my current position, and that delay puts me in a financial bind.
