Dear Family, Friends, and Kind Strangers,
We’re reaching out today with a humble request for help. Our mom’s house has always been more than just a building—For the last 32 years her house has been a place of love, warmth, and cherished memories for our family and so many others. It’s where birthdays were celebrated, tough times were endured, and countless laughs were shared. But now, the home that has given so much is in need of some serious care.
About a year and a half ago our mom decided to start renovating for the first time in 32 years with hopes of having her dream home. Unfortunately during renovations, the people she contracted with disappointedly left her home with an unfinished interior and damage on PAID work. We have not heard anything back from the contractor even after attempts of contacting them.
Since then, our mom has been left living in conditions that are unsafe, unstable, and financially and emotionally draining. So we have decided to take matters into our own hands and help repair our mom’s home but we need help raising funds for new furniture, painting, appliances, paying off outstanding bills and any professional plumbing and electrical help we may need. Every little bit adds up and goes a long way with reaching our goal to finish building our mom’s dream home.
Whether you know her or not, our mom has always been someone who gives generously to others, whether through her time, love, or a helping hand. Now, we hope we can rally together to give back to her and restore the home that means so much to all of us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. From the bottom of our hearts, we are deeply grateful.
-The Ameyedoe Family
