Help finance Jayrus' University studies

I met Jayrus in 2011 on my summer internship trip to Uganda. He was already sponsored by a Dutch charity to get the proper educational needs, but at the age of 16 he fell off a baseball bleacher and suffered a spinal injury. Since then he has been paralysed from the heck down.

At the age of 20 his sponsorship ended and I have made it my responsibility along with other people he knows to try to support him as much as possible. In 2018 he has lost his mother and his only living family member is a cousin to date. In the same we have also managed to get him to start computer science studies at Makerere University in Uganda. I save 80 euros on a monthly basis and then send him a collected amount every quarter to help finance the fees for school, accommodation, and food.

Last week, sadly, he was attacked and left on knocked unconscious in a busy street in Kampala where all his funds were stolen. He was carrying 100 euros to go pay the hostel for the quarter.

I will continue to financially support Jayrus, but was hoping I could make a big push through friends and family to get him back where he needs to be. Removing as much discomfort for him so he receives the treatment, education, lifestyle that will bring him back to good spirits so he can finish his education strongly is what is motivating me to do this.
