Help fight Sofia's cancer

Donation protected
My aunt Sofia Ursulov was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. She's one of the strongest people that, not only I, but also our family and network of friends know. She persevered with her treatment: she watched everything she did, watched what she ate, and was determined to get better. Five tough years later, she was cancer free. Sofia had always dreamed of retiring in Florida and three years ago her and her husband finally did. They live in a beautiful small house, where they are able to live out their retirement dream. Unfortunately, a couple months ago Sofia started getting sick. It was unclear what was going on because no doctor could find the source. She was coughing for this period of time, and was trying all sorts of antibiotics and steroids. The steroids made her even sicker. This continued until they did a blood test, and found a heightened amount of white blood cells. After many trips to the hospital, they finally found the source. She was diagnosed at the beginning of March with Stage 4 liver cancer. My aunt has always been full of life; she is the laugh you hear across the room at any gathering. She is the most caring motherly figure regardless of whether or not someone is her child. She is fun and energetic and kind hearted. When I visited her this past summer before going away to college, I had trouble leaving. She makes her home feel like your own home. She would not rest until she knew that my sister and I were properly fed, and ready to relax. She would give anything to please others. My aunt is no longer energetic, she has lost her will to laugh, and she is not her true self. Cancer is robbing her of her life and I will not stand by watching it happen. There is an amazing clinic in Jacksonville, Florida called Mayo Clinic. It's 3 hours away from their home and hotels are very expensive. If we are able to somehow find a way to get my aunt Sofia to this clinic, we give her a greater shot at becoming cancer free a second time. Any donation that people can afford would be so so greatly appreciated, even the smallest amount. The sooner we can raise some money, the faster Sofia gets her smile and her laugh back. Please help me by even just sharing this post if you're unable to donate, it would mean the world to all of our family and friends.
