A Call for Life ٰ Saving Lives from the Front Lines (Fida Gaza)

O our brothers in humanity, O noble-hearted ones, O seekers of goodness ٰ

I appeal to you from Gaza in these difficult moments where I suffer the woes of the siege and war and groan under the burden of poverty and destitution

I find myself compelled to communicate with you as a beacon of light to a world shrouded in darkness. The world may turn a blind eye to our plight, but I appeal to you to listen to me and hear my suffering. We are losing one soul after another due to senseless violence.

I turn to you in my worst need, hoping that your humanity will shine brighter than the bombs that rain down on us.

My mother, sisters, and I live without a father or a provider. I lost my father and brother in the shadow of the war. My family and I found ourselves among countless displaced, homeless, and destitute people. We cling to each other and draw strength from the bonds of love and humanity, but conveying our suffering crushes our morale.

But Before that, we need to know that we are not alone in this struggle.

Because we live in tragic humanitarian conditions that lack the most basic necessities of life. Food is scarce, medicine is missing, shelter is threatened with collapse, and I have lost my studies, university, and dreams.

But in the midst of this darkness, the sun of hope shines thanks to your giving and generosity. Every donation from you, no matter how small, contributes to saving a life, awakening a smile on the face of my mother and sisters, and restoring hope in their hearts.

We want life, peace, and survival. We want to live in safety.

Remember that every life saved is better than a thousand acts of worship. And that your contribution, no matter how small, makes a big difference in our lives.
