<div>Before the war, I was a computer engineering student at

<div>Al-Quds Open University, which has now been destroyed

<div>by relentless bombardments. My family and I also ran a

<div>car buying and selling business, but it was completely
</div>
<div>obliterated. Our home and livelihood were burned and
</div>
<div>destroyed. We once lived a normal life, just like everyone
</div>
<div>deserves.

<div><strong>The War's Impact</strong>
</div>
<div>On the eve of the war, I was preparing to celebrate my

<div>birthday. Instead, I woke up to the terrifying sounds of
</div>
<div>bombs, and our joy turned into despair. On October 18,
</div>
<div>while we were at home, bombs began raining down on
</div>
<div>us. It was an incredibly frightening experience.
</div>

<div><strong>Seeking Safety in Rafah</strong>
</div>
<div>We fled to Rafah, hoping for safety, but it is not safe
</div>
<div>either. Bombs fall on Rafah daily, and we live in constant fear, unsure of what the future holds. There is truly no

<div>safe place in Gaza. Many days, we go without food, and
</div>
<div>when we do find some, the prices are exorbitant and
</div>
<div>unsustainable.

<div>We desperately need to leave Gaza as soon as possible. I

<div>Feras had to leave his house in the South Sands area of Gaza and is now living in cramped conditions with his family. The tent is far too small to house all 15 members of his family. Feras regularly has to go hunting for food and water to feed his family, and needs to find nappies and food to feed the baby.
