I am raising funds for a colony of feral cats that I care for. There are seven cats in the colony, and two of the females have recently had babies. One of the cats is limping and needs to see a vet right away. My goal is to get them all the care they need—vet visits, spaying and neutering, and enough food to keep them healthy. I also hope to find forever homes for the kittens and any adults who are ready for adoption.

 I first got involved when I saw one of the cats eating bird seed out of the dirt. It started with feeding one, and then the colony expanded as people began dropping off more cats. It’s important to me that every animal be treated with compassion and empathy. They deserve to have the best life possible, and I truly believe that if you can’t love animals, you can’t truly love yourself.
