We are making this GoFundMe account for our brother Felix (Chino, Tony). Depending on what stage of his life you have known him, his name would be different. My brother has always been the life of the party, literally. He’s struggled with his alcohol addiction for years, but it became part of who he was. In July of 2024, my brother stopped drinking completely, and 2 days later, it caused him to have a stroke. He fell, hit his head, and began to have bleeding in his brain that landed him in the ICU. He was hooked up to a ventilator, feeding tubes, and a list of life-threatening diagnoses, but he was able to make it through. After months in the hospital and rehabs, he’s now home with family.

Chino is completely disabled, unable to walk, and has minimal usage of his right side. He is also suffering from dysphagia. My granddaughter is taking care of him full-time since he needs 24/7 care, and it's been difficult transferring him into a car as we wait for certain insurance measures to be put in place. So, we decided to make this GoFundMe to raise money towards a transport vehicle for him to be taken to appointments and to do activities outside of the home

Being that we are in Florida and he’s in Pennsylvania, this transition has not been easy. Any type of donation would be appreciated.
