 Hi, My name is Teresa, my self along with 4 other former Employees of Mckellar place (the manager, the cook,the accountant and the secretary) have come together to raise funds to provide meals for the remaining 38 residents who are being forced to move on or before August 18 due to the negligence of the current owner.

 these residents were on meal plans for which they paid for monthly with the rent, they do not have stoves ,the means or ability to cook their own meals.. lately it has been a gamble as to weather the will have a meal prepared for them when they arrive at the dining room at meal time.

 with that being said we are collecting funds to be able to insure that with all the stress with having to move at a time when the local housing market is overwhelmed these senior residents will at least be feed and not worry about if they will eat over the next 3 weeks.

 We 5 women will be volunteering our time shop,prepare,cook, and serve these vulnerable residents..
