Help Feed School Kids Now!

Donation protected
If you want to make a difference as our country faces extraordinary challenges, you've come to the right place.  Before COVID-19 shutdown schools nationwide, these school nutrition professionals were serving healthy meals to 30 million students every day. Today, we are asking these nutrition professionals to be heroes, working on the frontlines to ensure that children who depend on these meals don’t go hungry.

These caring and selfless heroes join the ranks of first responders during this unprecedented time, and they need your help today!

During this difficult time, our nation’s school nutrition experts have answered the call to provide healthy meals to hungry children through emergency feeding programs. The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) can help them feed those kids to maintain their basic daily nutrition and well-being, but we need your support. SNF will provide grants to school districts across the country so more kids can be fed. We will fund purchases of food and packaging for grab and go meals, mobile carts and kiosks for curbside service, supplies, and personal protective equipment so they and the children they feed remain safe.

SNF is a 501(c)3 sister organization of the non-profit School Nutrition Association (SNA), representing more than 55,000 school nutrition professionals nationwide. These women and men have been there since the very first school closure and are working around the clock. They refuse to let America’s kids go hungry. Please help us help them. Thank you.

This is why we love School Nutrition Heroes!
Communities like the one in Black Butte, Calif. are thanking the men and women who are feeding school kids during COVID-19.  These folks are redefining the term "HERO!"

Our School Nutrition Heroes are Poets Too!

By Erica Whitman Osborne, SN Employee

'Twas the Friday before Spring Break started, when all through the school, the lunch ladies were busy, there was so much to do.
The lunch sacks were almost packed, to the very tip top. All the prepping was almost at a complete stop.
They had fruits, veggies and juice of all kinds. Sandwiches and pizza kits, they left nothing behind.
It was almost time to load all the buses, With everyone to help, there were no time for fusses.
They loaded them all, all 32,000 pieces. They had worked so hard, and soon it would all reach them.
When the buses were loaded and all were aboard, they headed off for their one big chore.
After all the sacks were handed out and the buses were back, the lunch ladies gave out a great big shout, "Happy Spring Break to all and we can't wait until the kids come back!!"
