Help Feed San Pedro Families Impacted by Covid-19

The Goal of this fundraiser is to help feed families in the San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala area who have been affected by COVID-19.
For many local San Pedro Indigenous Maya Tz'utujil people, Tourism is an important part of the local economy. COVID-19 has completely obliterated this industry and has caused difficulty for some people to feed their families.
San Pedro has been a special place for me since the first time i visited. I spoke to my local friend Henry, he is owner of "Guatemala Sur Mesure Travel" and like a brother to me. I heard that he was hosting children in his home who had come into town hungry, in need of food. Hearing this, I felt compelled to help. Guatemala has opened its borders recently, but it will take time for things to hopefully return to "normal". I hope to help bridge that time by getting food to those truly in need.
Any amount truly helps as $30-$40 can feed a family for a month.
All food will be bought from the local community and distributed to families in need using the funds from this fundraiser.
