The global pandemic circulating throughout the world has had tragic impacts on communities everywhere. The current unemployment rate in Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, is a staggering 87% as families are struggling to meet their most basic needs, let alone seeking medical attention for this virus. Our goal is to raise $2,500 to give bags of rice to all the families of our 150 children and young men involved in soccer programs at Sadaya Soccer Academy to help keep them fed during this crisis. Liberia imports more than it exports, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, rice imports to Liberia have decreased drastically. To keep up with the demand for food and the inflating price of rice in this country everyday, we ask for your financial support and generosity. Your kindness could help feed a family in need. During this time of unprecedented unpredictability, we all need more grace than ever before.
