<div>Hi everyone, my name is Beth Brown, and I’m a lifelong friend of Farrel Freeman here in CA.
</div>
<div>I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friends Farrel and Melissa, who recently lost their home and everything they own in the devastating Eaton Canyon wildfire in Altadena, CA. They had only moved into their home in April 2024, and now the life they just started together has been reduced to ashes.
</div>
<div>While material items can eventually be replaced, the most heartbreaking loss is the irreplaceable family history that was destroyed. Farrel’s late father’s letters, paintings, and photographs—treasured keepsakes filled with memories and love—are gone forever. This loss represents more than just the home they shared; it’s a devastating loss of a life lived together, a connection to family, and the history they carried with them.
</div>
<div>This GoFundMe has been created to help Farrel and Melissa as they navigate through this disaster. While nothing can bring back the sentimental items they cherished, replacing the essentials—toiletries, and basic household items—can provide a foundation for starting over. The goal is $20,000, which is only a drop in the bucket compared to what they will need overall, but it’s a meaningful first step towards helping them.

</div>
<div>Farrel and Melissa are two of the most generous, caring people I know, always quick to offer love and support to others. They and their beloved dogs made it out safely, but they now face the daunting task of starting from scratch. If you’re able to give, whether it’s a small amount or more, it will mean so much. If you’re unable to donate, your prayers, love, and kind words of encouragement are just as valuable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s come together as a community to remind Farrel and Melissa that they’re not alone in this unimaginable loss. Thank you so much for your generosity and support—it truly means everything.
