My name is Melissa, I am a very close friend/family friend of Debbie. When I became a single mother, Debbie was the one who was with me to help me get by and help with my children. If you know me well, then you know Debbie (grandma G). Debbie has been like a second mother to me growing up. The last few years have been tough with Debbie fighting breast cancer. At this point, the cancer has spread to her bones, and she is suffering with daily pain from an active aneurysm and brain lesions. Debbie is now in hospice just to make her comfortable. Her daughter, Jennifer, has been taking care of her full-time and has not been able to return to work. We are asking for donations to help the family with expenses and end-of-life costs.
