Yesterday, my dear friend's life changed in an instant when her house caught on fire. She was at work at the time, her husband was home sleeping, and thankfully, the kids were not home. The smoke alarms woke her husband, and he was able to get himself and their dogs out safely. While everyone is physically safe, the family—five children and their parents—lost everything in the accidental fire. They are now facing the overwhelming challenge of being displaced and starting over from scratch.

 The funds raised here will go directly toward helping this family find temporary or permanent housing, replace essential clothing, and begin to rebuild their lives. Every dollar will help them cover immediate needs and provide some stability as they navigate this difficult time.
