<div>"I am Noha Al-Breim (26 years old) from Gaza, and this is my small family consisting of six members: my husband, Mohammed (30 years old)and my children, Hanan (5 years old),Razan (4 years old), Saleem (2 and a half years old) and Adam (8 months old). The war has destroyed our lives, our home, and our beautiful dreams. All we had left were the clothes we were wearing and some identification papers that we managed to obtain while fleeing. Gaza has become uninhabitable. We are reaching out here with a sincere plea for help. On October 9, we had to leave our home and head south. We had a beautiful home of which I was very proud – the boys' bedrooms were decorated with their favorite toys, and every evening when I came home from work I would have delicious traditional food to share. It was a happy family home. We fled to Khan Yunis and were forced to live in a shelter with more than 20,000 other people, with almost no water or food. We lost weight and got sick. After three months there, Israeli tanks surrounded the shelter and intense bombardment began. Many died when the shelter was attacked, but we managed to escape and had to move again, this time to a tent located in Rafah Al-Mawasi. We are still here. It is cold and wet, and there is almost no food, water or hygiene facilities. It's not a place for children - one day my two-year-old picked up the remains of an unexploded shell next to our tent, thinking he could play with it (luckily I figured it out quickly enough). It hurts me that my beautiful children now don't have a childhood to speak of, and that I have to watch them lose weight and get sick because I can't give them fresh food or enough food. The worst thing is to see my children afraid. The bombing is continuous and close, making them tremble with fear. I still can't believe how much they lost - their home, their school, their family and friends, three meals a day, and so much more. I can't see how we can return to the ruins where our beloved home was, and we worked so hard for years at jobs helping others. Our only hope now is to try to leave for Egypt, where we can work again and rebuild a life of safety and dignity for our family. We dream of seeing our children playing and studying again. Your generous money will help us escape Gaza (A valuable opportunity). Given the opportunity, we can build a good life in Egypt, support our families, and contribute to the economy.
