Hello everyone,
My family have been trying to leave Egypt 2 years now. Its my 3 siblings, mom and myself. We had our flight and everything on the 2nd August, 2020. Unfortunately after selling off our furniture, giving up our home and making our way to the airport. We were then told the flight had been cancelled. Only 2days before the flight date. This left us in a really bad situation. Money that was saved for late Egyptian visa fees had to be used to pay for a furnished apartment, utilities and food. Which wasn't cheap. After 4 months we ran out of money and had no where to go . A friend of my mom offered us a place to stay. All praise and thanks be to God. Its unfurnished and we're sleeping on mattresses on the floor. Living out of suitcases. Winter is upon us and we have no heater or winter clothes, since we didn't plan on being in Egypt. Im asking for help to raise the late visa fees and the cost for covid tests as its required for travelling. Its been a really hard 2years organising and struggling to make money to get to leave, then this happened. My mom made many sacrifices and she's really going through a difficult time. I hate seeing her depressed. I feel like she has been trying to be strong for my siblings and I, but there's only so much she can take. Please help us to leave Egypt!!! Help us through this hard time. We have no family who is in a position to help. My grandmother can barely support herself. My first two elder siblings are orphans and my father has not been in our lives for years. We never hear from him. Please help my mom, help us to leave before my travel document expires on 8th January 2021. My mom went through difficulties trying to get it. It was only valid for 6 months. Help us before we freeze!!! I hope to get your support. Please try to give as little as you can. It will be appreciated.
