Help Parents get to daughter who is in ICU

Donation protected
On November 29, 2019 our oldest daughter Christle was taken to the hospital Via Ambulance because she  couldn't breathe. Upon arrival she abruptly lost consciousness and was placed on a ventilator. She has been in the ICU ever since.  As they started running tests and found 2 large masses in her throat 1 on the right side and 1 on the left side. The large mass on the right side has caused arterial stenosis  on her carotid artery blocking blood flow to her brain.  She is in a medically induced coma so the vent can breathe for her.

The MRI shows that she has had an acute stroke on her right side of the brain. When they briefly needed to bring her out of sedation she had no movement on the left side of her body.  They once again placed her back into a medically induced coma.

Upon further testing there was an infection found via  ultrasound around her heart.   At this point they are scheduling surgery to remove the masses but she'll need to be transferred to another hospital for the surgery as the otolarygology surgeon is at a different hospital. They do not know If the masses are cancerous or not, and won't until surgery. Because of the pressure on the artery, it's too dangerous to do a biopsy . After surgery she will be transferred back to the admitting hospital for treatment for the other issues.

Christle is in the hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL and her parents are in Cincinnati, OH. We need to be there as her father is her Medical Proxy. We have been making all decisions long distance via telephone but we really need to be there with her. We have to drive because I'm end stage COPD and you can't take oxygen on the airplane.

On January 8th, 2019 we lost our daughter Krysten, a veteran. She lost her battle with PTSD. No parent should ever feel the pain of losing a child but we're facing the very real possibly of losing a second child.

We need help with the cost to get to her and the expenses while there and we are not sure how long we will have to be down there.

God willing she will come back from this, but she needs us now.

Thank you for your kindness,  generosity, and continued prayers for our family.
