Help Families Affected by the CZU Lightning Fires

The CZU Lightning Complex Fire has devastated families living in Bonny Doon and the surrounding communities. Many have lost their homes and others have been evacuated, uncertain if they will ever be able to return home or what will be left of their neighborhood. The fire, which was started by a lightning storm that caused 22 blazes, is burning 50,000 acres with zero containment. There are limited resources from the state, with not near enough crews.

Funds raised will be distributed to those who lost their homes for immediate needs. As someone who has lost a home to fire, I know how many unexpected expenses there can be as you try to survive in the aftermath and begin to replace every item you ever owned. It can be very overwhelming, but support from friends, family and the community means so much and truly makes a big difference. 

I started this fundraiser to help my cousins (Scott, Shannon, Jack, Noah and Max) who live in Bonny Doon. The funds will not be used by them, but they will help distribute directly to neighbors that are in the most need.
