Help Fadi gain back his livelihood!!

For 3 years I’ve worked for Fadi at VIP Smokeshop in downtown Louisville, KY. He quickly became more than a boss to me, he became family. There has never been a time he wasn’t willing and able to help me out with LITERALLY ANYTHING I needed. He’s helped me get my car fixed, get tires, and rent etc. He’s not once hesitated when I’ve asked for help and I’ve witnessed him do this for many other people in the downtown area COUNTLESS TIMES. He’s owned the Smokeshop for nearly seven years and this past year has been the hardest. Covid 19 has taken business out of downtown, but he’s been there at his shop everyday. Sometimes days and days straight, sleeping in a recliner in the back. Then the rioting and looting started. He’s been there protecting his shop everyday keeping it open and running for whomever may need something, for 120 days now. This shop is his life’s work. He decided to expand to a larger location a couple doors down. For months he’s been in there everyday remodeling the space. Gosh, I’m getting teary eyed just writing and thinking about this. Last night after being up for days protecting his livelihood from any vandalism he started to doze off into sleep and someone took advantage. Someone came in the back parking lot and threw a fire bomb in the upstairs window of the new location. Everything is DESTROYED. All the new walls and paint, destroyed. Freshly sanded floors and new lights, done for. Thousands of dollars worth of tools, gone! Fadi helps a lot of people all the time but I’ve never seen or heard of him really asking or needing much help himself. Well now he needs help, badly. He’s applied for every grant or relief fund he could find and nothing has come through. There’s just not enough to go around. I know everyone is hurting these days but if you can, please donate!
