Help Ezra get a CGM!

Donation protected
Ezra suffers from a condition called congenital hyperinsulinism, meaning his blood sugars drop dangerously low frequently, and without symptoms. In order to manage this, we check his sugar levels through fingerprick testing at least every three hours, although often it is checked more frequently than this. He has has had to have blood sugar checks like this from birth.
In order to make life better for Ezra, we would like to buy a Dexcom blood glucose monitor- this is a sensor that sits in his skin and continuously monitors his sugars, meaning much less finger pricks, and quicker response times to hypos, which greatly reduces his risk of brain injury- something he is at risk of every time he is hypoglycaemic.
However, the machine is not cheap and not easily funded by the NHS. At the moment, we cannot get one funded for Ezra. Im hoping to raise £1000. £500 will go towards setting up the system- this is what it costs to buy all the components, and £500 towards the sensors which are £51.25 each and last around 7-10 days. This would get us started. It would make Ezras life so much easier and safer, and will be very useful for nursery to monitor his sugars too!
